Description of the plant

ENGLISH

Palm shrub with slow growth and fine stipe habit and tuft with glossy medium green foliage. The slightly arched leaves, about 60 cm long and whose leaflets, 2,5 cm broad, are arranged in pairs along a yellowish petiole forming over time an increasingly abundant bouquet. Their small flowers grow on a branched stalk and are usually yellow in color.

Arbuste palmier à croissance lente et au port stipe fin et en touffe à feuillage vert moyen brillant. Les feuilles légèrement arquées, d’une longueur d’environ 60 cm et dont les folioles, de 2,5 cm de largeur, sont disposées par paires le long d’un pétiole jaunâtre formant au cours du temps un bouquet de plus en plus fourni. Leurs petites fleurs poussent sur une hampe ramifiée et sont généralement de couleur jaune.

Soil: fresh, light and well drained.
Exposure: half shadow to partial shade
Regular watering in summer and spaced in winter or spraying the foliage will benefit
Not very hardy, -4°C, to be reserved for regions with a very mild climate

Exposition : mi ombre à ombre partielle
Arrosage régulier en été et espacé en hiver ou une vaporisation du feuillage lui sera bénéfique
